This is the feature-length movie version of the successful series of
the same name. It follows the adventures of five children who escape,
along with a handful of adults, from the crumbling world of Io,
Jupiter’s moon. Their attempt to reach earth aboard the
abandoned space station KL5 meets with many disasters. Just when safety
is near, a rogue defence satellite mistakes them for enemy craft and
attacks with deadly laser fire, which sends them off course towards the
sun, leaving only one chance of survival!
